Jane's Clematis 'Sweet Autumn'
Clematis
It was already established when I moved in a year ago. This vine is in it’s full glory in late summer/early autumn. Not only is it breathtakingly lush and beautiful, it’s blooms smell like sugared vanilla. There is a nest atop this vine, and every year a mourning dove raises another crop of nestlings. I was fortunate enough to watch the babies fly for the first time this early summer.
