Sometimes you just want to chronicle the things which are trucking along the way they are supposed to, you know? These little guys are happy and healthy, although they are showing some serious phototropism. I need to move that pot behind them, I think.

Ripening: Yummy!!
My little round green friends are becoming swollen red friends – full of juicy, sugary, salty, tomatoey goodness! Unfortunately the little green tomato didn’t make the move, but these guys came from flowers borne not long after. 1st generation local tomatoes, one might say.

Two little volunteers showed up in my first raised beds, probably grown from tomatoes that were not acceptable for eating, and got poked under the soil for compost. They are going to be kept in pots until next spring.

Harvesting: One of our most prolific plants

Pruning: Last couple of weeks of harvest
