Day 36
Second and third leaves on already. I do so love my almost-constant supply of radishes! Must remember to be sowing them frequently in the next few months as I’m guessing that spring is about the perfect time for them- by mid-summer I’m not so sure how well they’ll be faring. This entry is about Glittertrash's Radish 'French Breakfast'- Sowing #4 in the Nunnery Vegetable garden.

Sown: Sown
Sown into the cinder-block spaces cleared as I’ve harvested the last bunch of radishes (was that sowing #3? It’s getting hard to keep track of all my succession plantings!)This entry is about Glittertrash's Radish 'French Breakfast' Sowing #5 in the Nunnery Vegetable garden.

These got planted for fall harvest. I squeezed them in between the two summer squashes since I had read that radishes keep away vine borers. That and I needed to put them somewhere. They started to sprout and then Zeus decided that looked like the best vantage for barking at another dog. Day 96
We planted these last spring. They not only survived the cold, soggy, soupy spring, they thrived. (Leave it to radishes…) In fact, we were inundated with radishes and couldn’t eat them all before they got woody and started flowering. We finally yanked the last few and composted them. This entry is about Matangie's Spring Radish patch in the Little Garden on the Prairie garden.
