Prune Group 3. This was growing nicely until a rabbit decided to chew it off at the base. It threw up a few small branches late in the season but I fear that is not enough to keep it through the winter. We’ll see what happens next spring.

Prune Group 2. Not the best choice for a cold zone. Early flowers are supposed to bloom on old wood (none survived the winter here) with late season flowers blooming on new growth. It got very little growth in its second year, the first year it was beautiful. We’ll see how it goes next y...
