Where does it grow?

Sown: Stepping It Up
My pot of chives is sparse and sad looking, so I added a whole bunch more seeds and added a light new layer of potting soil. It would be lovely to have a pot of chives like my pot of parsley (that is, thick like grass).This entry is about Verthandei's Chives in the Balcony garden.

My chives have been hugely improved since I gave them a haircut. The difference really is amazing. The dry bits are gone (because I cut them off) and it has just exploded in new growth! The moral of this story is: if your chives aren’t doing well, mow them down!
