Chili Pepper 'De Cayenne' Seeds
Capsicum annuum
Hot chili type. For greenhouse or sunny patio. Sow in a propagator on a windowsill or in a greenhouse (18-21c) using a good quality compost. Cover the seeds with 6mm sieved compost (germination 7-12 days) Transplant seedlings singly into 75mm pots, grow on and plant into final positions after frost risk has passed allowing 38 – 45cm between plants. Support the plant with a cane as fruit develops. Feed regularly with a proprietary fertilizer. Pick fruits green or red.
Sowing – cropping = 18 weeks.
