Yesterday was a quiet day, however i did manage to do a little bit of work in the garden..Every little bit does help. I managed to feed my Citrus and Avocado trees with a combination mix of Chicken manure pellets and blood and bone with potash mixed in. A Timely Dress Up Before Spring

With the onset of spring upon us, brings a new flush of growth on my English Ivy which is overhanging my rock wall that requires a cleanup..Just remember to use sharp secateurs, and when you prune it back just try and hide the cuts to keep it looking neat and tidy..This entry is about Warick's Vegetable garden.

Eww these guys are disgusting!! And they are eating my plants, even worse. Mr. Stripey is almost nude. I found one yesterday, and seven (including two little ones on my yellow pear) this morning. I threw them into the neighbor’s yard (don’t worry, no one lives there) for the boids.

Another heat wave...and cherries
and this time, there’s a lot more going on. The cherry tree has actual cherries, and I’m sill harvesting Swiss chard and herbs. I’ve never had a cherry tree before, and they are so shiny and bright red that they almost look plastic.
