    Compost

    Posted about 3 months ago | Cloudy 15°C / 59°F

Seems like we’re going to need some compost before our bin will be ready to provide. Shar will try to have some delivered tomorrow or after the weekend, maybe a wheelbarrow will be handy too!

    Ideas set in concrete

    Posted about 4 months ago | Overcast 8°C / 46°F

Hired “Decorative Concrete – J. Huber/Sunset Books, 2005” from the Emerald Library (wow, libraries now have new books in them unlike back when I was a kid; late fees are only 10c per day – go taxes!) yesterday. WOW. I had NO idea you could do so much with concrete. This is...

    Warrior

    Posted about 4 months ago | Overcast 8°C / 46°F | 1 thumbs up!

It finally stopped raining for a second...

    Posted about 4 months ago | Cloudy 8°C / 46°F | 2 thumbs up!

I headed down the back yard on a compost-deposit mission and ended up around the back of the little galv iron shed. We knew there were a number of old pots thrown back here on the ground under layers of fallen leaves and in two rusty ~200L drums. I ended up pulling out the following, approximatel...

    First tulips

    Posted about 8 months ago

After the crocus blooming in February, the tulips have begun to bloom now. Rather dispppointing though as only one tulips blooms at a time and the stems are so short the hardly can peek over the thops of the leaves.

This entry is about Miralmar's Balcony Mediterranean garden.
